Job Title: Workshop Trades Assistant
Location: Malaga, WA

About Us:
Mills Recruitment, based in Perth, is working with a leading mining and drilling equipment supplier to find a skilled Workshop Trades Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a reputable company offering excellent working conditions and competitive pay.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual assembly of drilling equipment and related machinery in a workshop setting.
• Assemble, test, and adjust equipment as per company specifications and safety standards.
• Safely operate forklifts to move, store, and organise materials within the workshop.
• Operate overhead cranes when required.
• Assist with general workshop duties and ensure equipment is maintained to high standards.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Previous workshop experience, specifically with drilling equipment, is essential.
• A valid forklift driving license is a must.
• Overhead crane operating license required.
• Experience with manual assembly and mechanical maintenance is highly desirable.
• Strong technical skills and a keen eye for detail.
• A proactive, team-oriented attitude.
• Commitment to safety and quality work practices.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
