Electrician Site Supervisor

Mills Recruitment is partnering with a well-established and growing electrical contractor to find a driven Electrician Site Supervisor to oversee site operations on key metro projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and is ready to step into a pivotal role.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading and supervising a team of electricians, trade assistants, and subcontractors across active project sites.
- Coordinating daily site operations to ensure timelines, quality standards, and safety requirements are met.
- Liaising with builders, project managers, and internal stakeholders to maintain clear and consistent communication.
- Ensuring all electrical work complies with Australian Standards, Building Codes, and project specifications.
- Tracking labour hours, reporting progress, and flagging any delays or resourcing issues.
- Managing material procurement and ensuring accurate orders are placed and tracked.
- Maintaining a strong safety culture and upholding all WHS obligations on site.
- Supporting a positive team culture and contributing to ongoing process improvements.
- Keeping accurate and up-to-date project records, documentation, and compliance paperwork.
- Proactively resolving on-site challenges to avoid delays and cost blowouts.
What We’re Looking For:
- A-Grade Electrical Licence (WA or transferable equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role on commercial or infrastructure projects.
- Solid understanding of commercial electrical systems, including lighting, power, switchboards, and data/communications.
- Familiarity with AS/NZS 3000 and all relevant codes and regulations.
- Ability to interpret detailed electrical and architectural plans.
- Confident with project tracking, resource planning, and site reporting.
- Strong organisational, leadership, and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly across trades, clients, and internal teams.
- Valid Driver’s Licence and White Card.
- High-risk work licences (EWP, Working at Heights) are desirable.
- First Aid certification is an advantage.
